In Budapest, the mission of spreading this joyful music (forró) was taken over by the 6 members of Arrasta Pest: Rapha, Lucas, Matheus, Bob Ze, Leo and Pri. The band, that’s been around for almost 3 years, is constantly reinventing itself to bring to the audiences the best influences of forro and its subgenres like xote, baiao, carimbo and arrasta pe—which inspired the band’s name—among others.
